Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. Dayton store is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain in‑stock, well‑merchandised aisles. You will handle checkout, support store operations including truck unload, stocking, and BOPIS/Ship From Store, and participate in framing services as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain merchandise recovery and general store recovery to stay well‑merchandised and in stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs; ensure compliance with laws.
• Interact professionally and model company values.
