Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a customer-focused team member in Torrance, CA to deliver friendly service, resolve returns, and support order pickup. You will process transactions accurately, use POS systems, and mentor new associates on register procedures.

Responsibilities include building relationships with customers and teammates, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, and promoting Nordstrom Loyalty programs while protecting customer privacy.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service and resolve returns, supporting order pickup.
• Accurately process transactions and use POS/store systems.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
