Job summary

Nordstrom is hiring a customer-focused team member in Los Angeles to deliver friendly service, resolve returns, assist with order pickup, and process transactions accurately. You will train new staff on POS, build relationships with customers and teammates, and contribute to a positive, team-driven store environment.

Roles involve evening/weekend shifts, upselling Nordstrom Loyalty programs, and safeguarding customer information.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Comfort with technology and multiple devices (Windows, iOS, Android).
Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
Experience training others on POS/register systems or onboarding new hires.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly service and resolve customer needs from start to finish.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy.
Process transactions accurately using POS/store systems and support inventory accuracy.
Mentor new employees on register use and procedures.
Promote Nordstrom Loyalty program and new tools to customers.
Hours vary by business needs, including evenings and weekends.
