H&R Block is looking for a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the office in Ohio. You will greet clients, manage check-in and scheduling, and support daily operations alongside tax professionals.

This in-person role offers training and potential advancement into tax preparation or office leadership. The position requires strong customer service, multitasking, and confidentiality, with availability for evenings and weekends during tax season.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team and serve clients professionally.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities throughout the day.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience
