H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to welcome clients and support daily office operations in-person in Connecticut. This role offers hands-on opportunities to learn tax operations and potentially advance into tax preparation or leadership.

You will greet clients, manage scheduling, handle intake and document organization, and collaborate with tax professionals to ensure a smooth, professional experience during tax season.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and manage priorities throughout the day.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience.
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
