H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to greet clients and manage check-ins, supporting daily office operations in-person in Ohio. You’ll coordinate scheduling, help match clients with the right tax professional, and work with a team of tax specialists during the busy tax season.

Ideal candidates are client-focused, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and comfortable using Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional client service.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities during the day.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience.
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
