Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor to lead in-store cooking classes, specializing in savory dishes, pastry, or both. You will teach hands-on classes, maintain high culinary standards, and promote cookware and kitchen products.

The role emphasizes delivering outstanding customer experiences, engaging with guests, and driving enrolment and retail sales while upholding safety and SOPs in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated proficiency in savory cooking, pastry and baking.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-store culinary classes reflecting company standards.
• Communicate cooking concepts clearly and encouragingly.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in training.
