Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor to be the in-store expert for savory cooking and pastry. You will lead hands-on classes and showcase your culinary knowledge to inspire guests and promote cookware, bakeware, and kitchen tools.

You will deliver engaging classes, follow approved recipes and game plans, and help drive enrollment and retail sales through exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Culinary arts degree preferred; however, extensive culinary experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Demonstrated proficiency in savory cooking, pastry and baking.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Deliver class experiences through savory, pastry, and baking that reflect the company’s passion for food and teaching.
