Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor to act as the in-store culinary expert, delivering savory and/or pastry classes while promoting cookware and kitchen tools. You will teach hands-on sessions, share culinary knowledge, and foster a love of cooking to drive class enrollments and product sales.

This part-time seasonal role requires 21+ with a culinary arts background or demonstrated proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Food Manager Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by delivering memorable, educational in-store experiences.
• Lead savory, pastry, and baking classes to drive enrollments and retail sales.
• Assist in class setup/breakdown, prep, and maintaining clean workstations.
• Ensure food safety, inventory control, and adherence to SOPs and wage-hour laws.
