Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at rural summer camps. You will supervise daily culinary operations, manage staff, budgets, and allergen safety to maintain top-quality, scratch-cooked meals.

This on-site, live-in position demands a high-volume, fast-paced environment and a minimum 6-day/70-hour work week. Competitive pay plus room & board and travel allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required (Allergens knowledge preferred).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; proficient with budgeting and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations and lead kitchen staff; schedule and train team.
• Control portions, ensure menu specs and scratch cooking standards.
• Manage allergen protocols and Health Department sanitation compliance.
• Handle inventory, orders, and daily reporting within budget.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods HQ.
