Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps. You will oversee daily culinary operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure strict allergen and sanitation compliance in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires flexibility to work a demanding 6-day, 70-hour week during the season, with competitive pay, a bonus structure, and full room and board provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager certification; allergens knowledge required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operations flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation to Health Department standards.
• Control inventory, place orders, and manage budgets with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods.
