Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at a high-volume summer camp. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure strict allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, on-site kitchen.

The role is a live-in, seasonal contract (May–Sept) with full room and board, competitive pay, a performance bonus, and travel allowances. Expect demanding 6‑day weeks across rural camp facilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary operations: flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and maintain health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
