Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at rustic on-site summer camps. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

The role is a seasonal contract (May–Sept) with live-in accommodations, competitive pay, bonuses, and travel/food benefits. You will lead a dynamic team across multiple camp facilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and top health/sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
