Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate in Danvers, MA, to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will engage customers in rewards programs, assist with BOPIS and SFS, and support merchandise recovery and store maintenance.

This role requires standing for long periods and physical ability to unload trucks and stock shelves. Minimum age 16 and a retail background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns/go back.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and Company policies; be respectful and positive.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned
