Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist in California to support vehicle operations, service production, and trainee development during peak seasons. You’ll help manage inventory, prep vehicles, and assist technicians while gaining hands-on exposure to Rivian’s service workflows.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning through the TRAIL program, mentorship, and RLN modules, with a clear path toward becoming a Service Technician. Strong hands-on and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous technical experience or adjacent technical industry preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, adaptable, hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing, and charging; manage vehicle logistics; maintain clean, safe service center environment.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs, learn to use basic hand and power tools under supervision; maintain tool readiness.
• Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program, receive mentorship, complete RLN modules, explore pathway to Service Technician role.
