Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join the Service team during peak seasons, supporting vehicle readiness and operations across multiple locations in the Northeast and nearby states. You will work on the front lines to ensure on-time delivery readiness and develop toward a future Service Technician role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Previous technical experience or hands-on mechanical/technical background is highly preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver's license with no suspensions in 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory and maintain readiness.
• Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs, focusing on PDI tasks and Express Lane work.
• Learn to safely use basic hand and power tools under supervision and support workshop readiness.
• Participate in TRAIL program and receive mentorship and on-the-job training for Service Technician path.
• Complete Rivian Learning Network (RLN) modules and explore a long-term service career.
• Provide cross-functional support to other areas to ensure site success while prioritizing technical training objectives.
