Job summary

Rivian is hiring an Adventure Readiness Specialist in Southern California to join the Service team during peak periods. You’ll help ensure vehicle readiness, assist with basic repairs, and support operations at the service center.

This role offers hands-on training through the TRAIL program, mentorship, and progression toward a Service Technician position while maintaining a flexible schedule and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & site operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain the quality and delivery readiness of Rivian vehicles through washing, detailing, and charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics including lot organization, shuttling, and secure key management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service center environment following 5S principles.
• Service production support: assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs and Pre-Delivery Inspection tasks.
• Learn to safely use basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Support the workshop by maintaining tool and equipment readiness.
• Training & career development: participate in the TRAIL program with hands-on learning and growth.
• Receive mentorship and on-the-job training for the Service Technician role.
• Complete Rivian Learning Network modules and explore a pathway into a long-term career.
