Job summary

Fish City Grill seeks a dedicated Line Cook to prepare, cook and present seafood dishes with pride, maintaining a clean, safe workstation in Dallas. You will follow recipes, line checks and portion items to spec while supporting teammates during high-volume periods.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year prep/line cook experience in a full-service setting, strong communication, and the ability to work well under supervision while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year minimum prep/line cook experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques used in the Prep/Line scope.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and clean work station at all times.
• Prepare, portion, and present items per Fish City Grill/Half Shell standards.
• Follow recipe, line checks and ticket flow to ensure quality and speed.
• Assist other line cooks and learn additional positions for teamwork.
