Job summary

Hy-Vee Lincoln is seeking a Seafood Service/Meat Manager to lead the Meat department, ensure freshest products, set pricing, train staff, and maintain high customer service standards.

You will schedule weekly work, manage displays, oversee freshness and shrink, and coordinate with store operations. This role requires 3–5 years in retail meat/seafood, high school or equivalent, and food safety training.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent; food safety training.
• Over three years up to five years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude; creates a friendly atmosphere through teamwork.
• Trains, supervises, disciplines, and evaluates all department employees.
• Determines weekly work schedule and daily work plan for the department.
• Inspects signage and displays; orders product for replenishment.
• Plans displays, promotions, and pre-orders.
• Ensures proper temperatures and storage procedures to guarantee freshness and control shrink.
