Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Newark, NJ is seeking a Sales Development Representative. You’ll receive Sandler training, mentorship from experienced Account Executives, and the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions while developing the skills to become a top-performing salesperson.

No prior sales experience is required if you’re coachable, driven, and enjoy talking to people—we’ll teach you the rest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; recent graduates encouraged.
• 0–3 years of professional experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Competitive mindset with a desire to succeed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and local outreach.
• Connect with business owners and decision-makers to understand their challenges.
• Identify opportunities where Dempsey can improve a customer's image, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Present Dempsey's solutions to small and mid-sized businesses and manage the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement.
• Partner with senior Account Executives on larger opportunities while learning from experienced professionals.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within Salesforce.
• Manage the sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
• Achieve monthly activity, meeting, and revenue goals while developing skills.
