Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a Sales Development Representative in the Northeast us market, with a strong foundation in communication and relationship building. You’ll receive Sandler training, mentorship from seasoned Account Executives, and the chance to earn uncapped commissions while developing into a top-performing salesperson.

No prior sales experience is required; if you’re driven, coachable, and enjoy talking to people, we’ll teach you the rest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 0-3 years of professional experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Competitive mindset with a desire to succeed
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn through coaching
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and local business outreach
• Connect with business owners and decision-makers to understand their challenges
• Identify opportunities where Dempsey can improve a customer's image, safety, and operational efficiency
• Present Dempsey's uniform and linen rental solutions to small and mid-sized businesses
• Manage the sales process from initial conversation through signed agreement for designated accounts
• Partner with senior Account Executives on larger opportunities while learning from experienced professionals
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within Salesforce
• Manage your sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects
• Achieve monthly activity, meeting, and revenue goals while continually developing your skills
