Job summary

Van Pool Transportation LLC in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and events with a split AM/PM schedule.

You will drive assigned routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure a clean, safe vehicle while following state and school district policies. English communication is required, and a 7D certificate or willingness to obtain it is essential.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.41/hour (effective 8/24/26)
  • Paid Training: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
  • May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspectionsMaintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate(or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
