Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and events in Hudson, MA. The role offers a part-time schedule with split AM/PM shifts, paid training, and opportunities for additional hours through charters and activities.

Ideal candidates hold a 7D certificate or are willing to obtain one, have a safe driving record, and are 21+ with at least three years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) certificate or willingness to obtain—training provided
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May assist students entering/exiting vehicle and using safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.41 /hour (Effective 8/24/26)
• Paid Training: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Guaranteed minimum hours
