Job summary

Van Pool Transportation LLC is seeking a part‑time School Van Driver in Duxbury, MA. You will transport students to and from school and events, operate routes, and perform pre/post trip inspections while maintaining a clean, safe van.

No nights or holidays required, and on‑site training is provided. Ideal candidates are 21+ with 3+ years of driving, hold a 7D certificate (or willing to obtain), pass a background check and 7D physical, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 7D Certificate required (or willingness to obtain — training provided)
• Safe driving record
• 21+ years old with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and 7D physical
• English communication (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school and events safely
• Assist students with entering/exiting the vehicle and use safety equipment as needed
• Drive assigned routes and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and report any issues
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Van Pool Transportation LLC School Van Driver (Part Time) Van Pool | Duxbury, MA Pay & Schedule

Pay: $24.41/hour

Paid Training: $20/hour

Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays

Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pretrip and post trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
