Job summary

Local Motion, LLC in Braintree, MA is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and events. The role includes a split AM/PM schedule, paid training at $20/hour, and guaranteed minimum hours within a safety-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Assist students entering/exiting vehicle and use safety equipment as needed.
• Drive assigned routes and perform pretrip & posttrip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Follow state/local laws and school policies.

Pay & Schedule: Pay: $24.41/hour Paid Training: $20/hour Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays Guaranteed minimum hours

What You'll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
