Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a part-time School Van Driver in North Reading, MA to safely transport students to and from school and events. This role involves pre/post trip checks, driving assigned routes, and maintaining a clean vehicle, with professional communication to families and school staff.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.41/hour
• Paid Training: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
