Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Dracut, MA is hiring part-time school transportation drivers to safely transport students to school and events. A School Pupil Transport (7D) certificate or willingness to obtain it is required; training is provided.

You’ll work a split shift on weekdays with no nights, weekends, or holidays, earning $23.70/hour plus paid training at $20/hour, weekly pay, and a benefits package as part of Beacon Mobility.

Qualifications

• Certificate (7D) required or willingness to obtain—training provided.
• Safe driving record is required.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and 7D physical.
• English communication skills (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events, may assist students entering/exiting vehicles and using safety equipment.
• Drive assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school policies.

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Safe driving record
