Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Haverhill, MA is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school and events. No CDL? We provide paid training to obtain the necessary endorsements and a valid DOT card.

We offer weekday split shifts (AM/PM), guaranteed hours, weekly pay, and a benefits package including dental, vision, 401(k), and opportunities for extra hours on charters and activities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $31.69-$33.77/hour (Effective August 24th, 2026)
• Paid Training: $20/hour
• Charter/Activity Trips: $27/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
