Easton, Redding, Region 9 School Districts is seeking a Technology Assistant to provide essential technical support to students, faculty and staff. You will deploy, maintain and troubleshoot a range of hardware and software in a dynamic middle school setting.

You will manage devices across macOS, ChromeOS and iPadOS using MDM tools, assist with damaged device invoicing, and support events with sound systems and displays while contributing to cyber security and inventory documentation.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required; progress toward a Bachelor’s degree or Computer Science certifications is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite), Chromebooks, and Chrome extensions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students and school leadership.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to ongoing professional development.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary Help Desk contact for staff and students; diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade software across macOS, ChromeOS, and iPadOS using MDM tools.
• Assist with invoicing and billing for damaged devices.
• Provide oversight and technology support for special events (sound systems, microphones, presentation screens).
• Support administration and security officers through use of cameras and video retention/monitoring software.
• Unbox, deploy, and repair computers, Chromebooks, interactive displays, projectors, printers, and related hardware.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventories and document procedures, tickets, and configurations.
• Research hardware/software compatibility and provide data-driven upgrade recommendations.
