Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) delivers in-district classrooms and standalone schools for K-12 students needing extra supports. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering SESI's evidence-based social-emotional services, including individual or group counseling and PBIS-informed practices.

You will collaborate with school teams and families, develop IEPs, and monitor progress. SESI offers professional development, benefits, and pathways across a national network.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Professional licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW or LMSW, LMFT/LMHC).
• 2 years of experience with children/adolescents in school or behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on IEPs including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional assessments and develop BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies to ensure safety.
• Support social-emotional learning through curricula and assessments.
• Provide in-service training with other teams.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain student documents per regulatory requirements.
