Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a licensed social worker to join our in-district classrooms and in-school programs.

You will provide individual and group counseling, participate in IEP/BIP development, and support students with diverse needs in collaboration with school teams. The role emphasizes data-driven assessments, behavior planning, and ongoing professional collaboration to promote student success and well-being within SESI’s PBIS framework and regulatory

Qualifications

• Licensure in LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC required.
• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Two years of experience in school/behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goals and IEP meeting participation.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and analyze data to inform plans.
• Develop functional behavior assessments, BIPs, and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management, de-escalation, crisis management, and safe restraint when necessary.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and assessments.
• Provide in-service training with teams, including expressive therapy and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain documents in student files according to regulatory requirements.
