Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) provides social-emotional services for K-12 students needing additional supports to shine in school.

As a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate with school teams and families to deliver high-quality services, including individual or group counseling. You’ll work within SESI’s PBIS framework, CASE, and data-driven models, applying evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPC/LCPC/LCSW/LMFT/LMHC (or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• 2 years of experience with children/adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual or group counseling to students per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on IEPs, including social-emotional IEP goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop functional plans.
• Implement behavior management and de-escalation strategies to ensure safety.
• Support social-emotional learning through curricula and targeted support.
• Coordinate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
