Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a licensed therapist to deliver social-emotional services within in-district classrooms and standalone schools. The role involves individual and group counseling, collaboration on IEPs/BIPs, and data-driven behavior assessments.

You will work with diverse student populations across SESI’s network, implement PBIS-based strategies, and participate in ongoing professional development and training. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional with eligible licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMFT/LMHC).
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Experience working with children/adolescents in school or behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual or group counseling to students per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on developing social-emotional IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings.
• Conduct social-emotional and behavior assessments and analyze data.
• Develop functional behavior assessments and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies including de-escalation and crisis procedures.
• Support SEL development through targeted curricula and interventions.
• Provide in-service training with clinical teams and partners.
• Maintain student records per regulatory requirements.
