Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a qualified social worker to provide individual and group counseling for students with special and alternative education needs. You will collaborate with school teams to develop IEPs and social-emotional goals, assess student progress, and implement behavior strategies.

You will work within SESI’s PBIS framework, maintain accurate records, and partner with families and external providers to ensure student success in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible (LPC/LCPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT/LMHC).
• 2 years of experience with children/adolescents in a school or behavior health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling.
• Collaborate on IEPs including social-emotional goals and IEP meeting participation.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop PBPs/behavior plans.
• Implement behavior management and crisis interventions when needed.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and activities.
• Collaborate with families and external partners to support students and staff.
• Maintain student records according to regulatory requirements.
