Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a school-based social worker to support K-12 students needing extra assistance.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide counseling and work with families and school staff to promote student success in a supportive setting. Responsibilities include developing IEP goals, conducting assessments, implementing behavior support plans, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Professional LMSW licensure required.
• Master's degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents in school or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or IEP/BIP-aligned counseling to students.
• Collaborate on IEPs, including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop related plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies and crisis response; ensure safety.
• Maintain student documentation per regulatory requirements.
