Responsibilities

• Manages the School Nutrition Program in compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Implements and adheres to employee handbook and nutrition standards.
• Files and maintains records for breakfast, lunch, snack production, cash handling, inventories, purchasing, and invoices.
• Maintains food cost control through planning, forecasting, ordering, and receiving.
• Supervises CNS employees and assists in selection as needed.
• Trains and evaluates staff in nutrition program duties and conduct meetings.
• Prepares daily and cleaning schedules for CNS employees.
• Maintains food safety, sanitation, and temperature records.
• Reports accidents and monitors employee health for safety.
• Follows internal fiscal controls and cash handling procedures.
• Manages equipment care and completes required training and certifications.
• Promotes healthy school nutrition and public relations.
• Encourages higher meal participation and performs related duties.
