Job summary

Brandon School District Technology Department is seeking an on-site Technology/Technical Support professional to manage staff laptops, student Chromebooks, classroom AV, printers, and network systems. You will work directly with the Director of Technology on district projects and system implementations.

The role offers broad responsibilities from day one, with real ownership of systems and the opportunity to influence school-wide technology planning.

Qualifications

Demonstrated troubleshooting ability with Windows and ChromeOS devices.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and sit for extended periods at a computer.

Responsibilities

Service district hardware and software for client and server computers, networks, telephones, and peripherals.
Install and relocate equipment, including unpacking, placement, connection, and configuration.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment; coordinate warranty service as needed.
Maintain records of hardware, software, licenses, and hardware inventory.
Assist with audio/video connectivity and troubleshooting for classrooms.
Update or upgrade equipment on local and networked systems.
