Job summary

Stafford County Public Schools is seeking a Computer Technician to maintain the district's information technology within a school setting. You will install, troubleshoot, and support hardware and software while coordinating technology resources with the Department of Technology.

Responsibilities include assisting with network hardware, software/license management, and delivering technical training to staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology needs within the building and respond to requests promptly.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and operation of network hardware.
• Repair and upgrade hardware; manage software/hardware licensure and inventory.
• Coordinate acquisition, inventory, and distribution of technology resources.
• Provide staff training and serve as liaison with Technology Department.
• Maintain license inventories and support technology projects.
