Job summary

Academy District 20 is seeking a dedicated IT support technician to provide first-line technical assistance for students, staff, and parents. You will handle PCs, tablets, printers, and related software, manage user accounts, and track work orders through the district’s ticketing system.

You will participate in trainings, maintain inventories, assist with equipment purchases, and support district IT procedures across schools and administration buildings.

Qualifications

• Experience networking client devices over wired and wireless networks.
• Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing personal computers, network printers, educational and productivity software, tablet computing devices, and operating systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to students, staff, and parents for PCs, tablets, and printers.
• Manage user accounts and track work orders in the centralized ticketing system.
• Maintain hardware/software inventories and assist with equipment ordering and budget preparation.
