Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise vehicle driver to safely transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires punctuality, a clean driving record, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include following laws, maintaining vehicle safety, and supporting classroom activities if agreed upon with the Director. Candidates must meet licensing and faith-based eligibility requirements described above.

Qualifications

• Must hold a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy beliefs.
• Active church involvement aligning with LifeWise statements.
• Regular driver’s license; license history of 3+ years.
• CDL with passenger endorsement for 15+ passenger buses; 15-passenger van requires no special license.
• Age 21–80; additional docs for drivers over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; supervise entering/exiting.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director.
