Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time vehicle driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for public school students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes punctuality, a clean driving record, and adherence to safety rules.

Applicants must meet faith alignment requirements, hold a valid driver's license (CDL with P endorsement as needed), and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must share LifeWise Academy’s Statement of Faith and What We Believe.
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine.
• Regular driver’s license; CDL with passenger endorsement may be required for larger vehicles.
• Age between 21 and 80; additional docs for drivers over 75.
• No at-fault accidents or citations in the last five years; background check required.
• Annual Physician's Statement for drivers with medical conditions.
• Required pre-employment, annual random, and post-accident drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and supervise boarding/exiting.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if directed by the Director.
