Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a collaborative BCBA in Frederick, MD to partner with educators and families, implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies that support student growth and success.

Responsible for FBAs, BIPs development, direct behavioral support, and collaboration with IEP teams. Opportunity to train staff on behavior management and crisis prevention, with a strong emphasis on ABA-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Active BCBA certification through BACB.
• Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs and applying ABA principles.
• K–12 school-based experience and familiarity with special education regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs, analyze behavioral data, and develop/monitor BIPs.
• Provide direct behavioral support and consultation to students with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with special education teams, educators and families to support IEP goals.
• Train and coach school staff on behavior management, crisis prevention, and evidence-based interventions.
