Job summary

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students at a school in Frederick County, Maryland. The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide behavior analysis services in accordance with established guidelines, school procedures, and standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• Current BCBA certification through BACB.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs to identify underlying causes of challenging student behaviors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized BIPs.
• Provide direct behavioral intervention and consultation services to students.
• Support students in developing behavioral, social, and emotional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents and other professionals to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
• Train and support school staff in behavior management strategies and intervention plans.
• Monitor and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust plans.
• Provide individual and group interventions focusing on problem-solving and behavioral improvement.
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Provide services in person per district policies.

Education

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, School Counseling, or a related field
