Job summary

Cross Country Education in La Plata, MD seeks a compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop individualized interventions, strengthen positive behavior supports, and promote student growth across the school community.

You will conduct FBAs, monitor BIPs, analyze data, train staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEPs and safe, inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active BCBA certification and Maryland LBA license (or eligibility).
• Experience with FBAs, BIPs, data analysis, and coaching school staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop/monitor BIPs, analyzing data to assess progress and intervention effectiveness.
• Provide behavioral consultation and coaching to school staff on evidence-based interventions.
• Train teachers, paras, and support personnel on behavior management, data collection, and crisis prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEPs, behavioral planning, and inclusive learning environments.
