Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a collaborative BCBA in Frederick, MD to partner with educators and families, implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies that support student growth and success.

Responsible for FBAs, BIPs development, direct behavioral support, and collaboration with IEP teams. Opportunity to train staff on behavior management and crisis prevention, with a strong emphasis on ABA-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Active BCBA certification through BACB.
• Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs and applying ABA principles.
• K–12 school-based experience and familiarity with special education regulations preferred.

Cross Country Education is seeking a collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Frederick, MD, to partner with educators and families in implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies that support student growth and success.

Position Overview

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), analyze behavioral data, and develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct behavioral support and consultation to students with diverse behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families to support IEP goals and implement effective behavioral interventions.
• Train and coach school staff on behavior management, crisis prevention, de-escalation techniques, and evidence-based intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• K–12 school-based experience and familiarity with special education regulations preferred
