Job summary

Brightli seeks a School Based Support Specialist to join our School Based Services team. Located at CPMS, Pleasant Crossing, Ray Crowe, Break O Day, this full-time role supports students through comprehensive treatment plans and coordinated community resources.

You will apply behavioral science principles to help youth thrive at home and in the community, while aligning activities with treatment goals and promoting recovery and resilience. A meaningful, collaborative environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human services specialized field of study.
• Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and two years of related work experience.
• Any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience.
• Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support.
• Four years of qualifying experience, including delivery of services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply behavioral science principles to support youth in thriving in their home and community environments
• Employ a supportive educational approach that aligns with client treatment goals and fosters recovery and resilience
• Engage in activities designed to meet diverse student needs and objectives
• Manage a caseload, ensuring coordination with supervisory staff and participating in client staffing to identify challenges and set achievable goals for treatment
• Exercise discretion and sound judgment when providing emergency services to students in emotional crisis
• Collaborate closely with Brightli Operational Guidelines and adhere to professional ethical codes
• Support management requirements, including data collection, program evaluation, grant applications, and contract maintenance

Education
