Job summary

Brightli is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in school settings, supporting success at home and in the community. Services are delivered on school premises during hours, with home/community support as needed.

You will coordinate with schools and families, provide individualized interventions, monitor treatment goals, and ensure documentation is timely and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related human services field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of related behavioral health experience if bachelor’s in unrelated field; etc.
• Relevant certifications and regulatory requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health interventions aligned with individualized treatment goals in school-based settings.
• Support students’ development of coping strategies, social-emotional functioning, and daily life skills.
• Participate in care coordination with schools, family, and providers.
• Manage an assigned caseload with timely documentation and effective services.
• Provide crisis intervention and follow-up, including outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits and outreach to support engagement.
• Assist with quality assurance, data collection, and compliance with protocols.
• Engage in staff development, supervision, and evaluations.
• Adapt to evolving student needs and collaborate to meet program goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
