Adult & Child Health is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to support students using behavioral science within comprehensive treatment plans. You will collaborate with families, schools, and resources to promote recovery and well-being, while managing a caseload under supervision and coordinating with staff to achieve treatment goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and two years of related work experience
Any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience
Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support
Four years of qualifying experience in services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders

Responsibilities

Apply behavioral science principles to support youth in thriving in home and community environments
Foster recovery and resilience through educational approaches aligned with treatment goals
Engage in activities to meet diverse student needs and objectives
Manage a caseload with coordination with supervisory staff and client staffing
Provide emergency services with sound judgment for students in emotional crisis
Collaborate with Brightli guidelines and adhere to ethical codes
Support management needs including data collection, program evaluation, and grants
