Job summary

Brightli is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in school settings, coordinating with schools, families, and providers to promote recovery, resilience, and academic success.

Role involves direct interventions, crisis support, and community outreach, with emphasis on documentation, QA, and adherence to agency standards in Indiana and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of several educational paths in psychology, social work, or related fields.
• Experience in behavioral health, recovery, and resiliency is considered.
• Ability to work with youth, families, schools, and providers in coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health interventions aligned with treatment goals in school-based settings.
• Support coping strategies, social-emotional functioning, and daily life skills.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and community providers.
• Manage caseloads, document timely, and ensure person-centered services.
• Provide crisis intervention and follow-up, including outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits and outreach to engage youth and families.
• Assist with QA activities, data collection, and protocol compliance.
• Participate in staff development, supervision, and evaluation activities.
• Adapt to evolving student needs and support program goals with collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Four years of full-time qualifying experience in the field
