Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in New York. The role partners with schools, families and staff to design individualized behavioral supports and data-driven interventions. Expect FBAs, BIPs, and ongoing coaching across districts.

Qualifications include a Master’s in a related field and NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA, with at least one year of experience. Bilingual capabilities are a plus. This position offers flexible hours and benefits, with travel between districts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of 1 year supporting children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with schools and families to develop evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and identify functions of behavior to guide interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and adjust plans.
• Deliver coaching to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Support IEPs and attend CSE meetings as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA confidentiality and professional standards.
• Travel between assigned districts to provide on-site support.
